Our organizer is the renowned cine artiste Ms. Padma Khanna. She belongs to holy city of Benares (Varanasi) which is home to some of the best vocalist, percussionist & dancers. Padma is Kathak Dancer of Banaras Gharana for more than five decades. She has been dancing Kathak, and acting in Indian Movies and TV for more than 4 decades. She has been known as “The Dancing Queen of Indian Cinema” and acted in more than 300 Bollywood movies. She also acted as Kaikeyi in the famous TV Serial “Ramayan”.

The director of our Academy is former Movie Director Mr. Jagdish L. Sidana, who completed his education & Diploma in Fine Arts from cultural city Allahabad and Degree in Cinema from FTII, Poona. He worked in movie industry, Mumbai as Editor, Director & Producer for 28 years, won many awards including President award.

The Chief Trustee & Supporter of the Academy is Dr. Navin C. Mehta M.D., F.I.C.S., P.C. He is one of the most renowned Otolaryngologists in New York City. He is also affiliated with Metropolitan Hospital and Lincoln Hospital, where he teaches and supervises residents in the clinic and in the operating room. Dr. Mehta is great philanthropist of the community. List of his awards and achievements is too long to be mention here. Dr. Mehta has also been awarded with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. He is Vice Chairman of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, USA. Dr. Mehta was the Chair-person for International conference of Hindi Sahitya Parishad, held in 2007 in New York, USA.

Visiting professor and one of Trustees of the Academy is Kader Khan. Mr. Khan is one of the most prominent dialogue writers in the seventies and eighties and of course one of the most successful character actors of the eighties in the movie industry of India. This is the person from whom Amitabh Bachchan learnt better dialogue delivery.
